There is no better way to welcome spring than with freshly harvested asparagus. Here at Middle Fork Farm, our asparagus is hand snapped above the ground at its “snapping point”. The snapping point is the lowest spot on the asparagus spear that is not fibrous and tough, meaning you can eat nearly all that you buy.
Whatever size spear you prefer – skinny, medium, or thick – all are tender because we harvest them at least every other day and often daily. We work hard to provide you the highest quality produce you can find.
Generally, we harvest asparagus for about four to five weeks, beginning in mid-May. We sell our asparagus by the pound.
